I would really suggest you to watch this video carefully once before attempting the workout.

Be Fit With Me - Week 3 Day 4

Hi Fitness Pals,

Today we will workout core with standing exercises.

This is a short workout , I would suggest to use light dumbbells to intensify the workout. But You can totally do it without dumbbells if you are at beginner's level.

You can use two water bottles (filled with water) in don't have dumbbells.

I would really suggest you to watch this video carefully once before attempting the workout.

For Increasing the intensity repeat this video for 2 more times and give a nice workout for lower body.

Why do we gain weight after we leave Gym?

Hi Fitness pals,

A friend asked a very valid question Regarding weight gain after leaving gym.
She said -
" I’ve a doubt. I’m slim. If I go for Treadmill workout and stop it after some time, will I become fat? I think I shouldn’t do it. "

This is what I replied her back -

"Nooh .. it is a big miss-conception that after leaving gyming/ exercising we gain weight .. When a person is trying to loose weight they make all conscious efforts to eat right and avoid unnecessary calories. But when they come off the program or they achieve their weight loss goal or stop exercising for any reason. They gradually revert back to their old eating habit (as they are not working out anymore so no calories are burnt and after a time frame the body starts loosing its muscles which were formed during exercising ) which leads to gain back the lost weight. After reaching a healthy weight people are always advised to not leave exercising completely. That’s why most fitness gurus say that loosing weight and keeping it off is a complete lifestyle change and it is forever. Or may I say that we can get A LITTLE lenient with it after we reach our desired goal but still we need to continue with healthy eating and exercising to maintain it."

I hope I've justified my point.

Aerobic Exercises – What Are These And How Are They Helpful?

Aerobic exercises also called Cardio (cardio-vascular) are form of physical exercise which has low to medium intensity. Aerobic means “living in air”, which actually refers to use of oxygen to meet the energy demand while performing exercises. In simple words, Aerobic exercises are the ones which when performed increases the demand of oxygen in the body to produce more energy. This typically involves larger muscles and is performed for extended amount of time in a continuous movement.
The examples of Aerobic exercises are walking, jogging, running, dancing, rollerblading, bicycling, swimming, rowing, stair climbing, etc. In a gym, Treadmill, elliptical, stationary bicycle and rowing machines are usual for aerobic exercises.
