Hi Girls,

| 6 months before my wedding day |
Getting a Fairy Tale Wedding is one of the most beautiful dreams of a girl. And feeling like a Princess, a necessity!! We cherish these memories throughout the life. This is one day we never forget in our entire life time.
Bride wanna glow like nobody else on the D - day. Glow, which no one has ever seen , glow with happiness and love and everything beautiful. Eyes Twinkle with glorious dreams of magnificent future. Smile is on full bloom and not to leave behind the feeling of having butterflies in stomach.
Different cultures, different styles and different charisma but one thing is still common - To look and feel like a million bucks - a true Princess.
6-12 Months Prior To your Wedding Day:
Beautiful skin glows from within. Always remember this. This is the time to take care of any health issues.
- Do yourself a favor, go to a Physician and get a general blood test done, find out if have any deficiency ( Iron, Calcium, Vitamin D are the places where we girls lack). Just to ensure that you are ready to take on all the hassles coming along. Apt iron and calcium level will ensure that you don't get tired while preparing for your big day. And that pink glow because of sufficient iron in your blood, I bet no blush can beat that. By any chance it there is a deficiency of any sort let your Doc take care of it. And do ask for a prescription for a Multi-vitamin. It has lots of benefits. Just trust me. Trips to shopping mall, however fun they are, are taxing and cause lots of stress.
- If Losing weight is on your agenda, Do it. This is the time. You have perfect motivation for that. If joining a gym is not possible just go out for a walk and perform some basic exercises at home. Remember, Skin and face is not only things visible in bridal attire. There are many more. And you don't wanna let the world see that tummy pouch peeking through that beautiful Duppatta of yours.
- Eat Healthy: You already know the basics - Ditch that cold drink, eat your fresh cooked meals, reduce the packaged/ processed food, eat healthy breakfast drink water, add fruits to your diet. And Yes Reduce the Sweet intake. Friends pouring in their wishes with chocolates just accept the wishes and refuse the chocolates.
Skin Care:
- Start with a basic regime of Cleanse - Tone - Moisturize. Use products which are according to your skin type. Invest in good quality products.
- Sunscreen - Just apply it, Everyday , every 2-3 hours and immediately after you wash your face and tone it, even before moisturizer. This will save you from any unnecessary Tan, Pigmentation and Dark spots.
- Exfoliate: every 2-3 days, a good and gentle scrub is required to clean any dead cells and bring the glow. You can even try out weekly Glycolic Peels at your dermatologists. Or you can use glycolic based products from pharmacists which are about 10-12% everyday.
- Tackle the acne: Look for topical products with Salicylic Acid and Benzoyl Peroxide. If these cannot tackle the issues then visit your dermatologist.
Well 6-12 months is a lot of time to take good care of you.
Will explain further step you can take as the time goes by in upcoming posts.
Stay Beautiful :)
