Purple and Silver Smokey Eye Makeup

Its that time of the year again where you sit under a blanket and enjoy your hot cuppa of coffee while watching your favorite tv shows. Well for me I enjoy my icecreams that way too. I love winters...this cool weather always puts me in good mood as does the wedding and holiday season. So here is one such look using the sparkling silver to compliment the purple creating an EOTD perfect for any party or girls night out or even to attend a wedding. Hope you all like it.

Here is the final look.

Wandering Clouds: An EOTD Inspired by the Clouds

Hi,

Okay so rains have almost left Pune but we thoroughly enjoyed the rains here, true we didnt see "sun" for quiet many days and weeks on end but now as the rains have gone, I'm kinda missing the overcast sky with all the different shapes of clouds making interesting shapes in the sky. As a kid I remember playing with my friends this game of making out the shapes in the clouds, so for this post I got inspired by the colors that form the clouds white, grey and black. Here is my ode to the lovely clouds.

A Matte Blue Black Smokey Eye Makeup

Hello everyone,

Does it ever happen to you that you love a color so very much that all you want is to be surrounded by the things of those colors?? I am not talking about pink..I am talking about my favorite color blue. Although its not possible to have an overdose of any color, you will eventually end up hating it, but I love blue and all things blue so for this look I chose to highlight that color .

EOTD - Purple and Pink Everday Wear Look

Hi Love,

Although I love shimmery shades but Matte colors have a special place in my heart . I feel that they are more  wearable even in day time. Esp. when it come to darker colors I like sticking to matte shades, they give better color payoff without being loud.

So here is my way of wearing a darker colored purple blended with pink. I can easily tone it down a notch, which will make it very wearable in day. Same way a little more drama can be added by applying a Cat liner and highlighting the brow bone.

Products, Colors and Palette Used :

  • Dark Purple , Neon Pink, Black  - All matte colors from Coastal Scents 88 Original palette. You can use any matte color you want / like.
  • Black / Purple or Blue cream base or cream shadow or Pencil Liner. I used Black Kohl and Midnight Blue Cream shadow stick ( I wanted a purple color base but I don't own one).
  • Black Kohl or Pencil Liner
  • Mascara

Steps:
  • Applied Midnight blue color close to my lashes and smudged it making it broader.
  • Applied Deep Purple eyeshadow on top of it and blended lightly taking it up towards crease. Kept the maximum concentration  of color on the lash line.
  • Applied Neon Pink color into the crease ( tracing the natural shape of lids, no exaggerated outer V), Blending with windshield wiper motion and keeping concentration on outer two-third lid and keeping inner one -third clear from pink color. Blended pink color a little above the crease as well.
  • Darkened the Purple color closed to lash line using a black eyeshadow.
  • Lined Lower lash line with black Pencil Liner, smudged it, applied pink color on inner one third and purple on outer two third. Blended them slightly and reapplied Black Pencil Liner.
  • Lined the upper water line with Black Pencil Liner and filled in the gaps between the upper lashes with the same.
  • Applied a thick coat of Mascara on upper n lower lashes.

Hope you  guys will like it ..

Stay Beautiful :)

Clubbing Makeup

Hello Beauties,

Here is one most classic clubbing wear with a twist of blue in it.

When we talk smokey eyes, dark grey black is the epitome in this segment; it never ever goes out of fashion. If you are confused what makeup to coordinate with the outfit and you wanna go dark just blindly opt for sliver/grey black smokey eye.

Well for this look it was a sort of day to evening transformation for me as I was in hurry and didn't had time to restart my makeup.

In morning I was wearing a light blue shadow (I’ll make another post on it). To add to the look I added a Gunmetal color to center of my lids, topped it with a hint of silver and added a little matte brown in the crease, to blend the color and matte black on the outer corners. Blended them all with a fluffy brush until it looked like a gradient. Tightlined the upper lash line and added liquid liner.

On the lower lids, I first applied the same blue shade to intensify it, then a black liner pencil on top of it, smudged it a bit and applied same gunmetal shade in center and black on outer parts. And blended all shade demarcation.

Although, blue is not clearly visible, it’s peaking from beneath the darker shades esp. on inner lids. I loved the effect; in personal it was prettier than it looks in picks.

I am so sorry I couldn't take any step by step picks, as I just had 5 min to get ready this was all I could click. If you guys will like it, I will definitely do a step by step tutorial in future.

Stay Beautiful :)
