Packaging: Packaging of the product is gorgeous and looks elite. It is purple, double tub plastic bottle with a silver cap. The pump of the bottle is embedded inside the cap which comes up when the bottle is twisted. Interesting.

Product Details and My Experience:

Lakme serum is lightweight, light pinkish serum. This serum is not silicon based so it doesnt feels silky like hair serums. This is a cream based serum which is extremely light weight. A small quantity (about one and a half pump) is required to cover the face and neck. It spreads easily and gets absorbed into skin quickly. It doesn't leaves any sticky feeling behind, Skin feels fresh and nourished. The serum imparts a soft glow to the skin.  My skin neither gets oily on my T-zone after using the serum nor it breaks me out. This serum a pleasant floral fragrance. 

Coming onto what this serum does for my skin: 

• Moisturizes an hydrates my skin without making it oily or leaving any oily residue behind. 
• It brings a subtle glow and luminosity. But this glow stays only when the serum is applied. I see no glow on days which I skip the serum. 
• Sebum control. My T-zone gets slightly oily when I apply a normal moisturizer (gets worse in hot and humid climate). With this serum there is not as much oil secretion.
• With one and half month of use I find my skin to be smoother than before. 

Things I am doubtful about:

• It is either too mild (because of which it takes more time) to reduce depth of wrinkles.
• Didn't show any noticeable change in blemishes and dark spots.
• I dont have lots of open pores so I cannot comment on that.
• Too mild to deal with whiteheads and blackheads.
• Although the ingredient list is very promising but the results are slow.

Last Words:

This serum is specifically targeted towards people in age range of twenties. At that age skin is tender and it is easier to protect it from formation of wrinkles and lines. This product will might just work for them. For more matured skin a high concentration of Peptides and AHAs works better.
