LAKMÉ NEW PRODUCT COLLABORATION WITH 

CELEBRITY MAKEUP ARTIST, DANIEL BAUER

(02/07/2013) – Mumbai: Lakmé, India’s iconic beauty brand will launch India’s first Complexion Care cream. Created in collaboration with renowned celebrity makeup and hair artist, Daniel Bauer, the Lakmé CC cream combines a daily skincare cream with the addition of makeup. 

Lakmé CC Cream is available in two shades – Beige and Bronze. Its light formulation ensures that the cream is easily absorbed into your skin, instantly giving it a perfectly even tone that looks natural. 

The new CC cream collaboration with Daniel Bauer was handled by Purnima Lamba, head of Innovations Lakmé, HUL. This is the first time Lakmé has collaborated with a makeup artist on a new product launch. Daniel Bauer will support the product and brand development throughout the year. 

Daniel Bauer said, “Lakmé CC cream is a result of Lakmé backstage expertise in beauty and makeup. It is a revolutionary new cream that will help make Lakmé even more appealing to India’s growing youth market. This product collaboration has been a great opportunity to bring together my 18 years’ experience in makeup working around the world with Lakmé, one of the most recognizable and trusted names in India, ” 

The CC cream will be sold across India and will be supported by a high profile intergrated campaign across PR, online, print and national TV. Two TVC spots will go live later this month, produced by Publicis India. Heavily featuring Daniel Bauer, the 15 second and 30 second TVC spots will run across India in multiple languages. Media planning and buying is being handled by Lakme and Mindshare. 

The TVC creative playfully shows how to achieve perfectly styled skin, even when celebrity makeup artist, Daniel Bauer, isn’t around. Financial details have not been released.
