Inglot Freedom System lipstick refill no 82 - Swatches & Review

Hi,

Red is the most sought after color when it comes to lipsticks and finding that perfect Red shade is a dream for any girl. Some like their red lipstick with blue undertones, some like their red with orange undertone. There is one perfect red lipstick for everyone... And mine is this.. Inglot refill no.82.

Shade : Red with slight pink undertone. Pink undertones are prominently visible only when the lipstick fades or is applied as a stain. When applied opaque it comes out as a medium true red color. Color fades into a pretty red stain which looks very natural.

Texture: Creamy and semi matte. Non sticky but thick. Doesn't gets transferred much until you pile up the product. It doesn't bleeds at all (atleast on me) - a very big plus point for shades like these. Doesn't settles into lines to an extend. Not very hydrating, which is good for a color like this, otherwise it would bleed. Because my lips are very dry I like to exfoliate and moisturize them prior using this lipstick. This particular shade might not be forgiving in dry scaly lips.

Pigmentation: Highly Pigmented, very opaque, shimmer free. One swipe is enough to cover any sort of pigmentation. Leaves a pretty stain after it fades.

Staying Power : 7-8 Hrs

Price :  INR 350 for 1.2 gms of product

Cons : The only con for this shade is that having dry lips is a sin. It will escalate the look of dryness by ten times.

Last Thoughts :  I am not a big fan of wearing Red lipsticks in general. It is a very formal wear for me, makes me look very mature. With red on my lips I feel like a complete stranger to myself. But as I said one perfect red color is a must for every girl. So this is my perfect red. And now I wont probably even look for more Reds. I just want to try Mac Ruby Woo and Russian Red. I am pretty sure I will never buy them anytime soon.
I did a little math about the quantity and price of the product and found out that these aren't that inexpensive. A Mac lipstick is about 4 gm of product at 950 INR, this refill is 1.2 gm for 350 INR. So a fully sized (4 gm)
product would be around 1150 INR, which is expensive than a MAC lipstick, leave apart other drugstore brands. But for me, I like having lipsticks in smaller quantity as I can still hope to finish them.

Stay Beautiful :)
